En 1934, durante una \u00e9poca de persecuci\u00f3n anticat\u00f3lica en Espa\u00f1a, fue al pueblo de Tur\u00f3n para escuchar en secreto las confesiones de un grupo de Hermanos de La Salle que ense\u00f1aban all\u00ed. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Todos fueron arrestados por las fuerzas del gobierno, falsamente acusados de rebeli\u00f3n, y ejecutados por un pelot\u00f3n de fusilamiento.
