Today, we hear the conclusion of Jesus\u2019 prayer at the \u201cLast Supper\u201d. Jesus prays for his disciples but also for all those who will believe in Jesus as a result of the preaching of his disciples. He is praying for you and me and how we should live in harmony as one.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Jesus prays for us to come together as one and not live as isolated individuals. Jesus sees us as created, unique, precious, equal persons and created in the image and likeness of God.&nbsp; Jesus does not see us as separate and apart from one another. \u201cJesus\u2019 prayer calls us to find common ground, to gather, to unite and to express our love for him through love for each other.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">-Our Lady of Mount Carmel Parish, Jesus is the Standard Jesus is the Standard for love.<br>( <a href=\"https:\/\/mountcarmelpgh.org\/blog\/jesus-is-the-standard-for-love-john-17-20-26\">https:\/\/mountcarmelpgh.org\/blog\/jesus-is-the-standard-for-love-john-17-20-26<\/a>)<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I invite you to read today\u2019s gospel in a prayerful manner, reflecting on the love relationship between the Father and the Son.
