{"id":1326,"date":"2021-05-24T16:56:00","date_gmt":"2021-05-24T21:56:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/wiga5ubklx.wpdns.site\/?p=1326"},"modified":"2025-10-08T16:34:36","modified_gmt":"2025-10-08T21:34:36","slug":"introducing-passion-of-the-earth-wisdom-of-the-cross","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/passionist.org\/es\/2021\/05\/24\/introducing-passion-of-the-earth-wisdom-of-the-cross\/","title":{"rendered":"Introducing Passion of the Earth, Wisdom of the Cross"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full is-resized\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"600\" height=\"200\" src=\"https:\/\/passionist.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/PEWC-HEADER.png\" alt=\"Header image introducing Passion of the Earth, Wisdom of the Cross, an initiative from the Congregation of the Passion to engage in Laudato Si'\" class=\"wp-image-1330\" style=\"width:750px;height:auto\" srcset=\"https:\/\/passionist.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/PEWC-HEADER.png 600w, https:\/\/passionist.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/07\/PEWC-HEADER-300x100.png 300w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">As Catholics and as Passionists, we have been asked by Pope Francis to seek the change of heart that is required to make the actions of the<em>&nbsp;Laudato Si\u02ca<\/em>&nbsp;<em>Action Platform<\/em> [LSAP]&nbsp;part of our daily lives. &nbsp;What Pope Francis asks of us is a \u201cprofound interior conversion\u201d leading us toward a future in which \u201call people can prosper personally and economically in harmony with the gifts God has given us in nature.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Today, the Congregation of the Passion proudly introduces <a href=\"https:\/\/passionist.org\/2021\/05\/24\/passion-of-the-earth-wisdom-of-the-cross\/\"><em>Passion of the Earth, Wisdom of the Cros<\/em>s<\/a>, a series of six booklets of formation and action developed for the Passionist Family to help us care for God&#8217;s Creation, embrace Gospel justice and renew our Passionist charism.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Written at the initiative of the Passionist Superior General, Fr. Joachim Rego, CP, with significant contributions from members of Holy Cross Province, each booklet is designed to help us care for God&#8217;s Creation, embrace Gospel justice, and renew our Passionist charism. Each booklet explains a chapter of <em>Laudato Si\u2019<\/em> considering the Passionist charism and a topic related to implementation of the LSAP Goals.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The aim is our personal and communitarian conversion which, we hope, will result in concrete actions through the adoption of new attitudes and change in lifestyle which will promote the &#8220;care of our common home&#8230;&#8221;<\/p>\n<cite>Fr.
