El centuri\u00f3n viene a Jes\u00fas con el coraz\u00f3n pesado. Su siervo est\u00e1 sufriendo terriblemente. Sin embargo, en lugar de sentirse abrumado por el problema, se vuelve hacia Jes\u00fas con confianza. Cuando Jes\u00fas se ofrece a venir a su casa, el centuri\u00f3n responde con palabras que repetimos en cada misa: &#8220;Se\u00f1or, no soy digno de que entres bajo mi techo; solo di la palabra y mi siervo ser\u00e1 sanado.&#8221;&nbsp; \u00bfQu\u00e9 hizo que este centuri\u00f3n fuera extraordinario? No era su posici\u00f3n o autoridad. Era su fe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Hay una hermosa historia sobre el escoc\u00e9s Robert Louis Stevenson, el novelista, poeta, ensayista y narrador sobre sus viajes. Pas\u00f3 gran parte de su vida luchando contra la enfermedad. Un d\u00eda, mientras yac\u00eda en la cama rodeado de frascos de medicina, mir\u00f3 por la ventana y exclam\u00f3: &#8220;Nunca dejar\u00e9 que una fila de frascos de medicina bloquee mi horizonte.&#8221; Incluso cuando estaba enfermo, eligi\u00f3 centrarse en la luz del sol m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de la ventana en lugar de los frascos de medicina junto a su cama. Esto es exactamente lo que hizo el centuri\u00f3n. No permiti\u00f3 que la enfermedad de su siervo bloqueara el horizonte de su fe. Vio el problema, pero vio algo m\u00e1s grande, el poder de Jes\u00fas. Estamos invitados a mirar m\u00e1s all\u00e1 de los obst\u00e1culos que tenemos inmediatamente delante y confiar en el poder abrumador de Dios. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">El centuri\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n nos ense\u00f1a humildad. Aunque era un poderoso oficial militar, reconoci\u00f3 su necesidad de Jes\u00fas.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La verdadera fe y la verdadera humildad siempre van juntas. Cuanto m\u00e1s nos acercamos a Dios, m\u00e1s nos damos cuenta de que dependemos de \u00c9l.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Respondamos positivamente al desaf\u00edo y a la invitaci\u00f3n del Centuri\u00f3n, para buscar una humildad m\u00e1s profunda que nos lleve a tender la mano a los dem\u00e1s con compasi\u00f3n y cuidado, y a buscar una fe m\u00e1s fuerte que se niegue a permitir cualquier obst\u00e1culo en el horizonte de nuestra fe.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>El centuri\u00f3n tambi\u00e9n nos ense\u00f1a humildad.
