There is something hopeful about the beginning of a school year. Fresh notebooks, new classrooms, familiar faces and new friendships all remind us that every year is another opportunity to grow. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Even for those of us who are long past our school days, the back to school season invites us to remember the teachers who believed in us, the lessons that shaped us and the people who helped us discover who God was calling us to become.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
One of the things I appreciate most about Catholic education is that it has always aimed higher than academics alone. As Passionists, we see education as much more than preparing students for a career. We believe it is about forming the whole person: mind, heart and spirit. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
