For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.\u201d John18:37f What a remarkable statement of Jesus!&nbsp; The whole reason of the incarnation was to witness to the truth!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In response to the pronouncement of Jesus Pilate asks one of the most important questions of our life: \u201cwhat is truth?\u201d&nbsp;&nbsp; The word in the inspired text of the Gospel is the Greek word for truth which is <em>al\u0113theia<\/em> &nbsp;from two words.&nbsp; \u201c<em>Lanthano\u201d<\/em> which means to &nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/search\/preSearch.cfm?t=KJV&amp;Criteria=%22be+hid%22+G2990\">be hid<\/a>&nbsp;(3x),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/search\/preSearch.cfm?t=KJV&amp;Criteria=%22be+ignorant+of%22+G2990\">be ignorant of<\/a>&nbsp;(2x),&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.blueletterbible.org\/search\/preSearch.cfm?t=KJV&amp;Criteria=unawares*+G2990\">unawares<\/a>&nbsp;(1x)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp; And with \u201ca\u201d which is a negative ie not unaware or not hid.&nbsp; In plain English it is \u201creality\u201d or existential.&nbsp; The OT Hebrew word for truth is \u201c<em>emeth\u201d&nbsp; It is used absolutely to denote a reality which is to be regarded as \u201camen\u201d \u201cfirm,\u201d and therefore \u201csolid,\u201d \u201cvalid,\u201d or \u201cbinding.\u201d It thus signifies what is \u201ctrue.\u201d Our prayers are usually ended with \u201cAmen\u201d ie reality and a faithful God!&nbsp;<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The truth of Jesus is He is God plunging into our world with a human face and heart having a love for us that is completely beyond our wildest dreams!&nbsp; Jesus tells us: \u201cJust as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love.\u201d Jn 15:9 These are some of the most amazing words ever said!&nbsp; The God creating and energizing the estimated trillions of Galaxies is deeply in love with flawed humanity to the point that He sent His Son to die and save us \u201cwhile we were yet sinners\u201d&nbsp; This is the great hidden truth that so very many seem to be oblivious.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This is the reason we call Christ our King!&nbsp; The word King is not very impressive to Americans because of our history.&nbsp; But Jesus said \u201cYou say <em>correctly<\/em> that I am a king.<sup>\u201d&nbsp; <\/sup>He is our wonderful leader who takes with His pierced hand and holds us as we follow Him!&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Dear Jesus don\u2019t go before me I might not be able to follow You. Don\u2019t go behind me I might lead you astray with my desires. Please walk beside me holding my hand, as an amazing friend!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>Fr.
