I have no reason to believe he\u2019s an evil man.\u00a0 So what\u2019s going on?<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Law and all the rules \u2013 like what can and cannot happen on the sabbath \u2013 give structure to life for this synagogue leader.&nbsp; But Jesus disrupts this routine, disrupts his worldview.&nbsp; Imagine if all that is holy to us, all that we have been trained in, all that seems to give our life meaning and purpose is upturned by Jesus.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">I get upset when others do not play by the rules.\u00a0 It frustrates me to see others scam the system for their own benefit.\u00a0 I even get annoyed when drivers don\u2019t signal a lane change. I like things nice and neat.\u00a0 It provides a level of comfort and certainty.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The danger is this: I begin to think that the world is made in my image and likeness.&nbsp; I start thinking that others should conform to my worldview.&nbsp; The early 20th-century philosopher Khalil Gibran wrote, \u201cWhen you love you should not say, \u201cGod is in my heart,\u201d but rather, \u201cI am in the heart of God.\u201d&nbsp;
