11:27-28<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflection:<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the prophet Joel\u2019s account, we can choose to find ourselves grateful for God\u2019s glorious design of the earth and the earth\u2019s climate.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The harvest is ripe.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The wine press is full.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Vats overflow.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The mountains shall drip new wine.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The hills shall flow with milk.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>The channels of Judah shall flow with water.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>A fountain shall issue from the house of the Lord to water [valleys].<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The psalmists deliver similar poetry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>The mountains melt like wax before the Lord.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Light dawns for the just.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Let sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 610px) 100vw, 610px\" \/><\/figure><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Other messages in today\u2019s readings ask us to observe the word of God. If we do, God will protect us from our enemies, and we will be blessed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">We can\u2019t help but think of our Hail Mary prayer when Jesus asks us to \u201chear the word of God and observe it\u201d rather than dwell on the praise of saying, \u201cBlessed is the womb that carried you and the breasts at which you nursed.\u201d How many times have we repeated, \u201cBlessed is the fruit of thy womb, Jesus\u201d?
