Pope Francis called them \u201cthe saints next door,\u201d those who reveal holiness through patience, kindness, and steadfast love in the midst of daily life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The saints we honor today are not distant or unreachable. They include those who have gone before us and those who walk beside us now \u2014 the nurse who comforts with gentleness, the parent who loves without rest, the volunteers who minister to those in need, the friend who forgives when it\u2019s hard, the seniors who pray unseen for others. Their names may never be recorded, but their holiness is woven into the fabric of the world. Like the \u201cgreat cloud of witnesses\u201d in Hebrews (12:11), their lives surround us, reminding us that holiness is not perfection but perseverance in love.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile has-palette-color-36-background-color has-background\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<p class=\"has-black-color has-text-color has-link-color wp-elements-1 wp-block-paragraph\" style=\"font-size:clamp(15.197px, 0.95rem + ((1vw - 3.2px) * 0.61), 23px);\">The Beatitudes in today\u2019s Gospel paint their portrait: the merciful, the peacemakers, the pure of heart. These are the saints whose joy is born not of success but of surrender.
