21:1-4<\/a><\/p><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Reflexi\u00f3n<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u201cAnd Jesus saw a poor widow putting in two small copper coins.\u201d LK 21:2\u00a0\u00a0 Scripture puts a tremendous value on the idea of giving!\u00a0 In NT it is treated\u00a0some 417 times!\u00a0 The Greek word is <em>didomai.\u00a0 <\/em>An easy way to remember this inspired Greek word is<em> \u201cdido\u201d!\u00a0\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Most of us probably don\u2019t think we have that much to give in the way of material wealth or talent. In the eyes of the world, the widow was among the poorest and least educated in society!\u00a0 But Jesus declared she gave more than the wealthy and highly esteemed of society!\u00a0\u00a0 Her gift to Temple was two leptons, which were like the smallest coins worth a few cents, a fraction of a day\u2019s wages!\u00a0 But for her, it was everything she had to live on!\u00a0 In Greek, <em>\u00a0\u201cton bion&#8221; <\/em>means &#8220;my whole living\u201d! The value of our gift is not how much money it is worth, but the cost to the giver.\u00a0 A small child fixing breakfast for her mother\u2019s birthday might be awful, but the\u00a0love behind it is precious to her mother!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Our abilities are pitiful in God\u2019s eyes but beautiful to His Heart!\u00a0 But God\u2019s gifts to us are far more priceless than we can imagine!\u00a0 Everything we have is a gift from God, our life, our talents, the people in our life!\u00a0\u00a0 Above all, our relationship with God is the most priceless gift of all.\u00a0\u201cSee what sort of love the Father has bestowed on us, that we would be called children <em>\u201ctekvov\u201d<\/em> of God; and such we are!
