In November 2025, the Trump Administration proposed a set of rules<\/a> intended to weaken the Endangered Species Act (ESA).<\/p>\n\n\n\n

If finalized, the new rules would make it more difficult to ensure that an endangered species receives necessary protections, while making it easier to remove protections for species who are currently endangered or threatened. Automatic protections for threatened species would be eliminated, voluntary conservation incentives would be reduced, and the consultation process for establishing protections would be weakened.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

These changes threaten the very existence of creatures made by our good and gracious God. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
