Last weekend, Passionist alumni gathered in Louisville to reconnect, share memories and celebrate the friendships rooted in their time with the Passionists. St. Agnes Catholic Community and Sacred Heart Community offered a warm welcome, continuing the spirit of hospitality that helps keep our Passionist Family connected.

The Passionist Alumni bring together people who participated in Holy Cross Province’s formation programs, along with the teachers, mentors and staff who accompanied them. Their lives have taken many paths, but their shared connection continues to offer a place of belonging, friendship and spiritual growth.

We give thanks for everyone who joined the reunion and for the many ways our alumni continue to enrich the Passionist Family.

Every two years we have a face-to-face reunion in Louisville KY. In the years in between we have a virtual reunion via zoom. What I have found is that the brotherhood and sisterhood that we share is bond that is unequal in my 74 years of being around. It isn’t just Warrenton it is everyone in the Passionist formation and those that are part of our experience who never were in our shared formation. Every person shares in the connection that we have as a gift from our God and our experiences together.
The Passionists are a part of my younger life! I shared with several of the seminarians in Warrenton, Bellarmine, and St. Louis. I would love to come to the next 2-year reunion in vivo…Frs. Joe Connolly and Peter Berendt were my earliest contacts, but then there were Bro. Isadore, Fr. Mel Spehn, Fr. Stepen Blalog, Fr. Roger Mercurio, Fr. John Patrick Day, etc. I hope I quality as an Alumnus and to find out about the 2028 reunion! Thank you.
Thank you for sharing, Stan! We encourage you to reach out the Passionist Alumni Association through the form on this page so you can be added to their contact list!
I am happy to see this. I am an ex passionist from Kenya. May the passion of our Lord Jesus Christ always remain in our hearts.
