From this small Galilean town, Jesus begins his ministry of teaching with “authority,” and the people took notice.

Come, Lord Jesus. Fill every corner of our world with your self-emptying love. Amen.

How we long for that peaceful stillness that our Creator offers. I believe this is the invitation given to us by Jesus in the Gospel.

The tension ever present in our lives between our external observance and our inner life needs to be kept in balance and harmony.
