As Hurricane Melissa moves through the Caribbean, we hold in prayer all those in the path of the storm, especially our brothers and sisters in vulnerable regions. We remember with special care Fr. Rick Frechette, CP, and the Passionist communities in Haiti and Jamaica, who continue to serve courageously amid hardship and uncertainty.
May God’s mercy shield all who face danger, strengthen those who bring aid, and give peace to hearts filled with fear.

Dios de misericordia y poder, se acercan las tormentas y los vientos se levantan, pedimos por todos los que están en peligro: por las familias, los ancianos, los pobres y por todos los aterrorizados.
Protege a nuestras comunidades Pasionistas y a todos los que sirven en tu nombre. Dales fuerza para ofrecer consuelo, esperanza y socorro a quienes sufren y a quienes ayudan.
Calma la tormenta dentro de nosotros y a nuestro alrededor. Cuando los vientos hayan pasado, guía nuestros corazones y manos para rescatar y reconstruir con fe, valor y amor.
