The “narrow gate” is love and compassion and forgiveness, justice and peace. May we always seek guidance and help and grace to find and enter through the “narrow” gate.

The “narrow gate” is love and compassion and forgiveness, justice and peace. May we always seek guidance and help and grace to find and enter through the “narrow” gate.

May God grant us the grace and the courage to proclaim God’s love to all the world.

The need is great; “the harvest is abundant,” but the love of God is limitless, and we are called to share the love and hope we have in Jesus Christ with this troubled world.

El Sagrado Corazón de Jesús está lleno de amor por nosotros. Que su amor llene nuestros corazones y fluya al mundo.

Jesus’ Sacred Heart is full of love for us. May His love fill our hearts and overflow into the world.

“I am the living bread that came down from heaven; whoever eats this bread will live forever, and the bread that I will give is my flesh for the life of the world.”

This Sunday is Trinity Sunday, when we call attention to our belief that God is Three Persons in One God: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.

All of our Scripture readings speak of the power of the Holy Spirit. Reflecting on the Holy Spirit has much to tell us about how we are called to be disciples today.

Que no nos preocupemos por la relación de los demás con Dios ni por las bendiciones que hayan podido recibir. En cambio, preocupémonos por seguir a Jesús, para que la Buena Nueva continúe siendo proclamada.

May we not be concerned about others’ relationship with God or the blessings they may have received. Instead, may we be concerned with following Jesus, so that the Good News continue to be proclaimed.
