The world needs us to witness to God’s love by sharing Good News and loving each other; by working for justice and making peace.

The world needs us to witness to God’s love by sharing Good News and loving each other; by working for justice and making peace.

Así como Jesús fue tentado a transformar las piedras para saciar su hambre, nosotros somos tentados a transformar y consumir lo creado para satisfacer nuestros deseos.

Just as Jesus was tempted to alter the stones to satisfy his hunger, we are tempted to alter and consume creation to satisfy our desires, we are tempted to see people and others only in terms of what we can get from them.

May we open ourselves to transfiguration, and let God use us to help transfigure the world.

«Ama a tu prójimo como a ti mismo. Yo soy el Señor».

“Love your neighbor as yourself. I am the Lord.”

Thanks be to God, Jesus resisted these temptations. But these same temptations are still put before us

If our perception of the “other” is causing us to sin, we need to throw it away no matter how attached we are to it, and listen to what Jesus says!

Si nuestra manera de percibir al “otro” nos está llevando a pecar, debemos desecharla, por más apegados que estemos a ella, y escuchar lo que Jesús nos dice.

If our perception of the “other” is causing us to sin, we need to throw it away no matter how attached we are to it, and listen to what Jesus says!
