Jesus revealed a Savior whose mission was broader and deeper: to heal bodies and souls, to break chains of sin and oppression, and to extend God’s grace to all people...

"For everyone who exalts himself will be humbled, but the one who humbles himself will be exalted."

Can you name a talent with which you are particularly gifted?  Have you fully pursued this talent for the betterment of others? 

“Be holy, because I am holy.”

We can forget how important a kind word or gentle action on our part can mean to those around us. 

We love and respect everyone, no matter how different they are from us in their thoughts or appearances. Why? Because that’s what Jesus would do…

“Woe to you, scribes and Pharisees, you hypocrites."

To love comes before to serve. Love is the foundation of selfless service. If we love, we will be drawn to serve others. If we are rooted in God's love, so too will we be rooted in service.  

"For behold, some are last who will be first, and some are first who will be last.”

"Whoever exalts himself will be humbled; but whoever humbles himself will be exalted.”
