Trusting in Mercy After Every Fall

Lord, all my life I have recited, “the Lord is kind and merciful.”   But I have never truly meditated on the depth of your love, forgiveness and compassion for me.  I focus so much of my energy on my failings that I lose sight of your love for me despite my imperfections.  Teach me to surrender all my hurt and fear to the wisdom of your mercy.  In this abandonment to your will, let me find new peace.
