Passionist Spirituality is a distinct spiritual tradition rooted in the charism of the Congregation of the Passion (Passionists) founded by St. Paul of the Cross in the 18^th Century.

At its heart, Passionist Spirituality centers on the Passion of Jesus Christ as the ultimate expression of God’s love and the key to understanding human suffering, redemption and hope. 

Passionist Spirituality is a Christ-centered way of life focused on remembering, meditation on and proclaiming the Passion of Jesus as the ultimate sign of God’s love. It calls followers to unite their lives, especially their suffering, with the sufferings of Christ and to bring his compassionate presence and hope to a broken world.
