Trusting God When Plans Change

Lord, sometimes I feel so sure of things—of decisions I am making as to where my life is headed. And then, you put something unexpected in my path that changes my course. When this happens, give me the divine grace, wisdom and courage to follow your lead. Let me be true to the belief that your Will guides all things, even when adversity and pain comes into my life. In this way, let me remember that your loving plan guides my life. Teach me to surrender to you in all things big and small.
