Trusting God With Loved Ones’ Suffering

Lord, I think one of the most difficult crosses to bear on earth is that of sickness—not only personal illness but those of my loved ones. To see those who I love suffering with pain and despair, worry and uncertainty can be unbearable at times. When I feel overwhelmed with such sorrow, I humbly ask you to bring me the comfort and solace of your loving embrace. Forgive me for my lack of faith in the face of suffering. I ask you to teach me to trust that all good will come from your Divine Will.
