One Holy Desire: Trusting God’s Will

Loving God, I find myself distracted so often with all the demands of my daily life and relationships. But in truth, there is only one thing I need to do and all else will fall naturally in place. Help me this day, dear Jesus, to reflect on your suffering. Let your great sacrifice help me to rest in God’s will and ease my control over people and events. Allow me to trust that in this surrender You will make me whole and I will be a more loving spouse, a compassionate parent, a caring friend.
