Remembering the Passion in Prayer

All powerful God, at times my mind wanders when I pray. The events of the day keep me from focusing and I become distracted with the smallest of things. Let me carry each day the Passion of Christ within, not avoiding but remembering His great sacrifice so that it informs my mind, my heart, my soul.
