Listening More Than Speaking

 Dear Lord, most often, I come to you in prayer with all my own plans and desires for what I need.  I seek you out to ask you for answers to questions, solutions to problems, and sought-after favors.  I forget to consider that you have your own greater, wiser plans for me and my spiritual life journey.  I thank you for always listening to me and my desires for what I believe will put me on the right path.  Give me the courage to surrender my wants to your infinite grace and wisdom. Let me listen in prayer far more than I speak.
