Being Content With God Alone

 Lord, I want you to always be the focus of my prayer.  Teach me not to judge my prayer by how I feel during my meditations.  Sometimes in my prayer, I experience great comfort and consolation, and I want to hold on to that feeling.  I know that such emotions are gifts from you.  Let me find joy in prayer even when those feelings are lacking.  Let me be at peace with all my experiences in prayer.  May I always be content with you alone.
