Remaining United With God

 Lord, I have so many responsibilities to attend to in my day.  So often I get caught up in the stresses and chaos of life, that I find it almost impossible to make meaningful time for prayer.  Help me, Lord, to remember the importance of that peaceful, meditative prayer with you.  And help me also, even when I truly do not have the ability to come to you in quiet prayer, to remain united with you in spiritual recollection.  I know you understand that I must give my outward attention to work and family.  Let me always trust that even in the midst of commotion, I can find inward peace in your presence.
