For decades, Fr. Blaise Czaja, CP, has faithfully served as a Passionist priest, sharing God’s love through his ministry, kindness, and joyful spirit.
Fr. Blaise was deeply committed to preaching parish missions across the country and was a well-respected mentor to young seminarians.
Many throughout our Passionist Family also know him as our resident photographer, always behind the camera capturing the moments that become cherished memories—from ordinations and jubilees to retreats, gatherings, and celebrations across the Province.
Currently, he is involved in prayer ministry at Sacred Heart Monastery in Louisville, KY, and enjoys spending time at Churchill Downs.
On July 2, 2026, his 90th birthday, we give thanks not only for the memories he has preserved, but for the life of faith, service, and generosity he continues to share with so many.
