Dignity in Suffering

Dear Lord, sometimes when I face even the smallest challenges, all I want to do is seek sympathy from others. Help me to act with dignity and restraint. Help to bring me peace in the face of my suffering. I know that you have given me good people in my life from whom I can draw strength and comfort. May I share my suffering with those in my life who care about me, as I strive to grow closer to you.
