Responding to Injustice with Love

Dear Lord, it hurts very deeply to suffer injustice. It seems everywhere I turn I see people suffering from unfair treatment. I find myself getting angry and resentful. I sometimes feel like those perpetrating the unjust acts should be punished. Please help me to calm these unkind feelings. Let me live by your example that I may love and pray for those who persecute myself and others. Bring me your strength and peace in the face of such experiences that I may always seek to do your will.
