Fed by the Father’s Will

Dear Lord, I’m sorry that I only seem to come to you when things are going poorly. It seems that when I am facing difficulties, I continually ask why you have sent me such trials. Yet, for all the blessings—all the good health, kind friends, successful jobs and unexpected happiness that comes into my life—I often forget that this too is the work of your Divine Will. I know that you want me to experience inner peace, but that I must be prepared for suffering. Help me to appreciate the joy in my life. Give me the strength to face the hardships.
