Peace with My Imperfections

Dear Lord, I am constantly plagued by my own self-criticism. I worry so much about what others think of me, often making decisions based more on these judgments than my own needs. Help me remember that no one is perfect, and that those who truly love and care about me will accept me with my flaws. Let me be willing to accept my own imperfections and to work on those defects that keep me from a true Christian life. Help me to remember that I was made in the image and likeness of God, and that your love for me is unconditional.
