Join Us for a National Vocation Awareness Week Novena

As we celebrate National Vocation Awareness Week, we invite you to join us November 2 - 10 for a prayer novena for those discerning God’s call to priesthood, religious life and other forms of generous service in the Church.

National Vocation Awareness Week is an annual, week-long celebration of the Catholic Church in the United States, dedicated to promoting vocations to ordained ministry and consecrated life through prayer and education – plus renewing our prayerful support of those considering one of these special vocations. The Bishops of the U.S. inaugurated this special celebration in 1976.

As we celebrate, we invite you to join us November 2 – 10 for a prayer novena for those discerning God’s call to priesthood, religious life and other forms of generous service in the Church.

Each day of the novena offers a short reflection and prayer focused on listening to God’s call, responding with courage, and supporting one another in faith.

Together, we pray that hearts may be open to the Holy Spirit and that our Church may be blessed with dedicated servants of the Gospel.

Let us unite our prayers with those of Mary, Our Lady of Guadalupe, and St. Paul of the Cross, trusting that the Lord of the Harvest will send laborers into his vineyard.
