Patience to Pray Without Fear

Lord, give me the patience to pray without fear, but with only the hope and expectation of encountering you in some small way.  Sometimes I may go through times when I feel my prayer life lacks great meaning.  Let me remember that even during such times, you are still very real and present in my life.  Give me the strength to continue talking to you even when I feel like I can’t hear you over the chaos of my daily life.  During these times, let me come to you quietly, with the hope, “Show me the way, Lord.  Show me the way.”
