Listening in Silence

Lord, often in my prayers to you, I do all the talking. I donʼt take the time to be still, to listen to you speak, to really experience myself in your presence. So often I need refuge from what is going on in my life, and I seek earthly comforts instead of coming to you in quiet conversation to feel your loving embrace. Forgive me for this. Help me to listen more attentively in prayer with you. Remind me that my heart is known to you, even if I use no words.
