Today, we are witnesses to miracle stories like the "Miracle of the Sun" at Fatima and the miracles of the apostles in Acts.

No one is truly lost when the Lord is the compass of our lives. Nothing can drown us if we hold on to Him.

Today’s gospel recounts one of the most memorable of Jesus’ miracles: the multiplication of the loaves and fishes.

“As long-time followers of Jesus, how well do we witness to his presence in our lives?”

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten son, that whoever believes in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
-John 3:16

There is a dominant, lasting joy that comes from trusting him in so many areas, including with our deepest struggles, rather than trying to fix everything ourselves.

Like Nicodemus, Jesus invites all of us to embrace Easter as a feast that ought to be a way of life.

“Jesus came and stood in their midst and said to them, “Peace be with you.” 

So too with us. Christ calls us to proclaim the good news of his resurrection, however imperfectly we may do so, knowing that at times in our bumpy, uncertain lives, our faith may feel like soul-jolting potholes of unbelief — and yet, and yet, Christ calls us, anyway.

Throughout the Easter season, let’s see how we can become better disciples of Christ so we can witness to the ends of the earth.
