The fountain of the Scriptures is bubbling with refreshment these days of Easter; in the Easter lectionary the abundance from its treasure chest is thrown open to us.

Education alone is not enough to make us aware of Christ’s presence. We also need Faith.

I wonder how I can bring the great experience I had of being loved and cared for, to everyone I meet. My journey and quest continue to this day.

Perhaps today you can find a quiet spot to be in the presence of God to experience the Spirit alive in you and all around you.

Does resurrection begin with confusion?  In a way, it does.  Yet this is typical of the Divine One’s story engaging humanity. 

Today is a time for deep, spiritual pondering – helping us celebrate the true meaning of our lives as followers of Jesus Crucified, members of the Passionist Family. 

On this day, we read the Passion from John’s Gospel – a gospel account that presents Jesus as victorious. It is our victory too.

Peter thought Jesus was demeaning himself. In fact, he was humbling himself, something all servants need to do.

The Passion did not begin on the cross. It began with the heartbreak of betrayal.

If we can bend down and grab the stones that Jesus has prepared for us — smooth stones of peace, hope, compassion, care, service, and love — the ripples that are left will move to shores far beyond our imagination.
