As Catholics and as Passionists, we have been asked by Pope Francis to seek the change of heart that is required to make the actions of the Laudato Siˊ Action Platform [LSAP] part of our daily lives. What Pope Francis asks of us is a “profound interior conversion” leading us toward a future in which “all people can prosper personally and economically in harmony with the gifts God has given us in nature.”
Today, the Congregation of the Passion proudly introduces Passion of the Earth, Wisdom of the Cross, a series of six booklets of formation and action developed for the Passionist Family to help us care for God’s Creation, embrace Gospel justice and renew our Passionist charism.
Written at the initiative of the Passionist Superior General, Fr. Joachim Rego, CP, with significant contributions from members of Holy Cross Province, each booklet is designed to help us care for God’s Creation, embrace Gospel justice, and renew our Passionist charism. Each booklet explains a chapter of Laudato Si’ considering the Passionist charism and a topic related to implementation of the LSAP Goals.
The aim is our personal and communitarian conversion which, we hope, will result in concrete actions through the adoption of new attitudes and change in lifestyle which will promote the “care of our common home…”
