For vowed religious like Passionist priests and brothers, a jubilee is the celebration of a significant anniversary of their vowed life, generally celebrated at 25, 50, 60 and 75 years. It marks a milestone in their lifelong commitment to God through vows of poverty, chastity and obedience, along with the fourth vow of Passionists to keep alive the memory of the Passion of Jesus.
This occasion is not only a personal thanksgiving for years of faithful service but also a communal celebration of God’s sustaining grace and the witness of the religious person’s life.
It is both an anniversary of commitment and a public testimony to enduring faithfulness in a vocation of prayer, ministry, and service.
Congratulations to our Passionists who are celebrating jubilees in 2025!
