On November 8, The Greening of Detroit generously gifted St. Paul of the Cross Passionist Retreat & Conference Center with 100 native trees! Over 80 amazing volunteers of students, families and staff came together for a joyful morning of planting and connection.
The Greening of Detroit is a non-profit organization focused on enhancing the quality of life for Detroiters by planting trees, providing job training and involving youth in the education of the natural environment.
Rooted in our Passionist charism of compassion and inspired by Laudato Si’, these trees are a sign of hope — living reminders of our call to nurture and protect God’s creation.
