Being a disciple means living as Christ would have us to live. Lent is a time for us to focus on the mission given to us by Jesus, “To go out and make disciples of all nations.
It may help to ask ourselves whether we are being the disciples we need to be.
- Are we the example that others want to follow?
- Are we living for Christ with our entire being?
- Does our attitude, actions, words, and service reflect the Christ in us?
- Do we TRUST Christ completely or are there other things that we rely on?
These are things that I reflect on because they will make me a better disciple, someone others may want to imitate.
