Loving Without Self-Seeking

Lord, teach me to give love freely, without any expectations. Often, when I seek to find you, I forget that you place people in my life in order to reveal your love and mercy. Let every act of kindness from my neighbors serve to remind me of the love that you have for me. Help me to show love to others with only the intention to do your will. May my acts of love and friendship be an example to others of your love for them.
