Freedom From Old Guilt

Lord, I re-live my past sins and failings over and over again in my mind. I carry deep guilt and regret over offenses that have passed years and years ago. Help me to release myself from this great burden. Deepen my faith and trust that I might never waste one moment worrying about your love for me. When the devil whispers these lies in my ear—fears that the heavenly Father holds grudges against me—give me the strength to cast him off. Bless me with gentle reminders of the love and mercy that are mine in your name.
