Asking for Prayer in Humility

Lord, let me never be too fearful or to proud to ask others to pray for me. In some of your darkest hours in Gethsemane, you asked your friends to join you in prayer. Let me always remember the power that comes from those who care about me offering their prayers and penances for my intentions. When I am most in need, give me the strength to go to those I love and ask for help. Let this spiritual union be my earthly comfort during lifeʼs challenges and trials.
