Loving Each Person Well

Lord, on this St. Valentineʼs Day, I am thinking of all those people I love. I am grateful for the many blessed relationships you have given me in my life. But, oftentimes, I am overwhelmed in trying to make all the people I care about truly happy. Teach me to love each person differently according to not only what they need, but what they have the capacity to receive. May the Holy Spirit guide me in my relationships. Let my heart always be open to accept the love, friendship and kindness of those around me.
