Humility Without Comparison

Lord, the world we live in is constantly asking me to compare myself to others in work and achievements of all sorts. Let me be freed from any superficial desire to compare myself to others. Let me have the courage and strength to be above such petty competition. I know that I will never be ready to fully receive your gifts if I have the need to feel superior to my neighbor. Teach me to measure myself only by my relationship with you.
