Accepting Help With Gratitude

Lord, help me to accept any physical ailments with grace and strength and dignity. Let me always find the value in any suffering that you bring into my life. But let me also remember that you have put people in my life on earth who can help ease my pain. Let me never be too proud to seek human help. Guide me to the right doctors. Bless me with the wisdom to follow the advice of those who care for me and have my best interests at heart. When I come to you in prayer for help with such afflictions, let me always be doing my part to find healing.
