Praying Through Illness

Lord, forgive me for my weakness during times of illness. I know that such difficult times are opportunities to join you on the Cross. In my selfishness, I often squander these opportunities by complaining, doubting, and worrying instead of looking for the value in my suffering. Teach to find the strength to pray during sickness. Guide my choices for care and remedies that I might do all I can to find healing and wellness. In the chaos of pain, let me find your loving peace.
