Peace in Sharing the Cross With You

Loving Lord Jesus, help me to see the goodness and privilege of helping you to carry the cross.  Though I know this honor brings me grace and blessings, I continue to fight and complain about the earthly burden of sharing in your suffering.  Forgive me for this.  Purify me of such selfishness.  Even in the face of my weakness, continue to work within me.
