Christ the King Passionist Retreat Center is truly fortunate to have generous and dedicated volunteers who stepped in to provide much-needed support in caring for the grounds recently.
A team of volunteers from Divine Savior Parish in Orangevale, California, gathered on a recent Saturday morning to clear excess brush and remove dead trees along the Stations of the Cross. The effort was led by Christ the King grounds volunteer, Pat Day, and the morning began with a prayer offered by Fr. Phillip Donlan, CP.
Led by Christ the King volunteer, Kate Anderson, a dedicated group from St. Thomas More Parish in Paradise, California, came together to help clean up the Labyrinth. The Labyrinth is one of several sacred spaces on the Christ the King grounds and remains a cherished place for many retreatants and visitors.
