Seeking God in Every Season

 Lord, I know that I come to you when I am in trouble, when I seek comfort from pain and suffering, when I am anxious about the future.  I want to come to you at all times, not just in seeking solace.  Forgive me for making you my escape.  I want you to be an integral part of my life.  But my desires tend to be for earthly satisfactions.  Forgive me for this.  Be patient with me.  Teach me to go to you with joy and sorrow, pain and celebration, confusion and clarity.  Let the Holy Spirit come upon my heart, mind and soul.
